In this section, Voice of Lyrics is working for the memory and the disponibility of historical recordings. Many of those recordings are forgotten and may never be found for sale again, and the companies - if they still exist - who produced them are not interested in reediting, whenever the demand is too small and no sufficient profit to expect. Though some of those recordings (especially by famous musicians) are from time to time in stores, most of them normally are very difficult to find.

We are developing this section for musicians, scholars and other interested public. In general these CDs are not industrially produced, but they will be, as soon as the demand is consistent enough. The original material is from the Westermann Classical Record Collection. The items of this collection will be accessible in the Collections section of this website. In the Historical Reedition section you find already digitalized and remastered items. If you are looking for something else, you could find it in the Collections section and as nearly all recordings are still in our machine typed card archives (access by composer and performer), we may have a look into them to find any recording you would like to get.
