Yes, this is Apollon! Son of Zeus. God of light and ... music. Let us remember that Apollon's influence on human mind is elevating and inspiring. In Homer you will find Apollon plying the zither (which he is said to have invented for his festivals, whilst the lyra was of more common use) and the Muses singing, but Apollon became finally the god of singing and poetry and thus was the "musagetes", the leader of the Muses - and also of the round dance of which Singing and Music are a part. As a friend of all things brightening up our lives Apollon is also imtimately united with the Graces.
